We had a great time with Bailey and Jesse yesterday!
Congrats you two!! We wish you the best!
Ashley and I had the honor of shooting Troy and Kalyn’s wedding a couple of weeks ago.
Their wedding was so beautiful and included some very unique touches. Some of those included a beautiful reclaimed-barn wood arbor that Troy and his dad built for the altar, ring bearers riding tractors down the aisle, and bridesmaids and groomsmen all wearing cowboy boots.
Needless to say, we had an absolute BLAST shooting their wedding.
I can finally now post the now Mrs. Pamela Ford Miller’s bridals. Ashley and I finally got to meet Pam in Pineville to take these pictures at the old barn on the Central Louisiana Health Center property.
It was an absolutely beautiful location and a mostly-perfect day for a bridal session. We had a little bit too much wind at times, but we managed to work through it and were able to create some beautiful images.
With all that said, take a look at the images!
Ashley and I finally had the opportunity to meet Kalyn and Troy this past Saturday in Zachary on the land where they got engaged.
They were seriously some of the most down to earth people we have ever met. They are the kind of people we enjoy hanging out with and as Troy said many times during our shoot “We are friends, right?” Troy, we definitely consider y’all friends.
Kalyn and Troy have been together over 6 years and have a very interesting story of how they met. As Kalyn describes it, Troy stalked her at her locker until a few days later when they finally talked. It seems that is how every good relationship starts huh? Haha.
But really, these two are absolutely amazing. The joking back and forth, the cute little glances in between shots when they thought we weren’t looking, and their comfort around each other is truly astounding. From the few hours we spend with them on Saturday, I can tell they were meant for each other.
Kalyn and Troy, we look forward to hanging out with y’all soon. One day soon, y’all will have to check out the snoball machine I bought the other day!!
Without any further adieu, here are the pictures.
Today we had the pleasure of shooting Megan and Jonathan’s engagement pictures on LSU’s campus and at the Louisiana State Museum in downtown BR. Although we had to dodge storms and tons of traffic, we had a GREAT time!!
Ashley and I have hung out with them before, as Jonathan is Ashley’s sister in law’s brother (confusing, huh?), but never really gotten to know them until today. Megan and Jonathan met and graduated from Mississippi College. Megan is a social worker, mainly working with children who have cancer.
I have major respect for social workers like Megan, who can work with kids in these conditions day in and day out. I know that I do not have the emotional fortitude to keep my composure if I was working with children with cancer. And Jonathan’s alright too, I guess. (that is my best attempt at recreating his funny sense of dry humor, in case you couldn’t tell)
Anyways, that is enough writing for this post. I am sure there will be more stories to come later with this funny couple.
Enjoy the sneek peak and make sure to check back soon for the rest of the pictures.
